Exhibition Bad Langensalza – 1989-2009
The consequence with which this small town (aprox. 18700 Inhabitants) has used the opportunities of an active urban policy is striking. A key factor was the early and consistent profiling as a spa town and the effort of the city to keep a compact body of settlement. Within the framework of the federal states project “Humanity, Nature and Urbanism 2009” the Bauhaus.TransferzentrumDESIGN designed a three-piece exhibition. The research group „Forschungsgruppe Bad Langensalza“, directed by Prof. Dr. Max Welch Guerra worked out the contents as part of a research commission given to Bauhaus-University Weimar.
